Intergenerational accommodation: a win-win solution!
The association 1 Toit 2 Ages puts students in search of accommodation in touch with householders aged 50 and over who have a free room during the academic year from September to June.
The students are housed in exchange for services or a low rent (maximum of €300).
With this set-up, the student is provided with an original and homely place to live, while the householder gains a reassuring presence and a safeguard against loneliness, as well as additional income.
The not-for-profit association 1 Toit 2 Ages aims to promote intergenerational ties by selecting interested candidates and checking up on them throughout the year as they take part in this rewarding journey.
