Demute for culture

At Demute, we create sound for video games. We have developed our activity and are now one of the major players in the video game industry in Belgium. Based on this experience, we have created Demute for Culture, a department that allows us to meet the specific needs of cultural spaces. We experiment and create new types of visitor experiences to get closer to the expectations of our clients’ target audiences.
Demute for Culture is active as a producer of immersive and innovative audio content. Each project is unique. We create editorial podcasts, narrative video games and audio tours for heritage sites.
We create interactive and immersive audio tours. These new mediation tools meet the expectations of certain audiences who would like to live a unique experience when they go to the museum. Thanks to a tailor-made scenario, the visitor is immersed in the universe of your heritage site. They become actors of their visit since they become one of the protagonists of the narrative. We further stimulate their participation by allowing them to make choices that will influence the narrative. These elements are inspired by video game practices.
To build the scenario, we work in collaboration with the team at your location. Together, we define the information contained, the message, the target audience in order to meet the specific needs of the place. We adapt to your conditions in terms of budget and technical support. We take care to define with you the right balance between narration and information.
