Explore.Brussels is a network of associations of quality guided tours in the Brussels-Capital Region.
It gathers the member associations ARAU, Arkadia, Bruxelles Bavard and Pro Velo
La Fonderie (2020) and Korei (2021) have joined the network as partner associations.
The common mission is the enhancement of the tangible and intangible heritage of the Brussels-Capital Region.
Explore.Brussels is the specialist of Brussels’ Art Nouveau and Art Deco heritage and also a pioneer in the promotion of neoclassical and eclectic heritage. As such, the association also develops, with its members, events of guided tours of interiors of a scale that an association could not develop alone:
The Brussels Art Nouveau & Art Deco (BANAD) Festival puts Art Nouveau and Art Deco in the spotlight every year in March.
The Brussels Biennale – Neoclassic (BBN) highlights the neoclassical heritage in October every even year.
The Brussels Biennale of Eclectic Artchitecture (BBEA) focuses on eclectic heritage in October every odd year.
In addition to architecture, the offer of guided tours includes themes as varied as green spaces, art, comics, gastronomy, folklore, history, heritage, Europe… a range of possibilities from classics such as the Grote Markt, beer and chocolate, to the exceptional, the unexpected and the little-known pearls, i.e. over 500 themes.
The offer for individual visitors is available all year round and the tours are organized in French, Dutch, English and German.
These tours are organized on foot, by bicycle, by bus and by boat.
