• Incubator

CREATIS Brussels was launched on Wednesday 14 December 2016. The project is a collaboration between ING bank – the incubator will be located in ING Art Centre – and the crowdfunding platform KissKissBankBank. Various partnerships of skillsets play a part, including the ST’ART fund. These partnerships demonstrate the diverse methods of financing the creative and cultural sectors.

For a year, no fewer than ten companies in the creative and culture sectors may be welcomed, with a view to achieving growth. Preference is given to those companies that are developing innovative activities related to digital technology, working on projects that could be developed in the European and international markets, whose founders are working to remove divisions in work methods and sectors. The entrepreneurs will be assisted in these new markets by the international presence of CREATIS, particularly in France where this set-up has already helped over 40 companies successfully.

The objective of CREATIS is to accelerate the development of the companies it works with for the duration of one year. This assistance will be tailored to individual companies. Entrepreneurs can also have access to a network of experts who can offer specific training on, for example: constructing, writing and presenting business plans, developing presentations, communications and arguments, learning basic law (business, social, intellectual property, the internet), strategy with regard to online presence, etc.
