The TOURBIT Digital Readiness Index (DRI) is a self-test for SMEs in the tourism sector that want to make progress with their digitalisation. It will help them assess their level of digitalisation in different areas and functions of the company and provide recommendations on how to improve.

The starting point is the DRI online questionnaire, which consists of 44 questions that test technology use and organisational capability. Find the test here and the explanatory manual here

The system generates an individual DRI report based on the answers provided. It contains an executive summary with a personalised view of the results, an in-depth self-assessment of the current situation and numerous recommendations on how to improve the situation, based on several algorithms built into the questionnaire.

If companies know their level of digital maturity through the DRI, they can participate in webinars adapted to their digital maturity.

In addition, by using the DRI, Belgium-based tourism SMEs are in an excellent position to develop their digitalisation project and will have the opportunity to receive up to 9,000 euros to support its implementation as part of the Tourbit Acceleration Programme.
