Maison Pliester – Chocolatier, formerly Concept Chocolate, is an artisanal chocolate shop in Brussels located on Rue des Chardons in Schaerbeek, 10 minutes from downtown Brussels. Founded in 1986 as Chocolaterie Duval and taken over in 2011 by Maxime Pliester, the company carries on nearly 40 years of Belgian chocolate-making expertise.
Every day, ten artisans craft pralines, truffles, filled chocolate bars, and specialty chocolates made with 100% cocoa butter all entirely by hand. Maison Pliester also specializes in creating custom chocolates for businesses, hotels, and events, including logo-imprinted chocolates, custom gift boxes, and corporate gifts.
The workshop is open to visitors year-round: guided tours, hands-on chocolate workshops, and beer & chocolate and wine & chocolate pairing tastings—for groups of 2 to 60 people, families, team-building events, and school groups.
Recognized by Gault&Millau, certified as an Artisan (SPF Economy), and awarded the Green Key and ShiftingPact labels.
